Firms or companies desiring to provide services, shall submit sealed and marked proposals no later than September 11, 2025, at 3:00 p.m. CST at Amory City Clerk’s office, 109 South Front St., Amory, MS 38821.  Bids will be opened in the City of Amory Board Room located upstairs at City Hall (109 South Front Street).  

The City of Amory will receive separate sealed Bids for the City of Amory Pickleball Court Expansion Project until 3:00 PM local time, September 11, 2025 at The City of Amory,  City Clerk’s Office, City Hall, City of Amory, 109 South Front Street, Amory, MS  38821. This project will duplicate the existing courts located at Panther Park located at 1004 Crump Blvd and will be located in the same parcel. Bids received after this time will not be accepted.  Bids will be opened and publicly read aloud immediately after the specified closing time.  The outside of the Bid envelope shall be marked with the project title, name and address of the Bidder and current Contractor’s license number.

Plans and specifications are being made available via original paper copy and electronically.

No oral, telegraphic, or telephonic proposals will be considered.

Bidders shall make an effort to utilize Disadvantaged Business Enterprise firms as much as possible including Minority and Women Owned Businesses.  To assist in this effort a list of eligible MBE and WBE firms as obtained from the Central Mississippi Procurement Center has been included in the specifications.  Bidders are strongly encouraged to contact firms on this listing to solicit their interest and to contact others who may not appear on this listing.  Documentation of solicitation efforts should be retained for audit.
